The Neighbors Harvest Project

COMMUNITY GROWING INITIATIVE • 2026

Growing food. Growing community.

The Neighbors Harvest Project is a Heathen Farms community initiative created to grow fresh food for local families who need it most.

Our goal is to build and maintain dedicated growing space that will produce fresh, useful food for our local community through simple, practical gardening and the support of neighbors who care.

This project is about more than growing vegetables.

It is about service.

It is about community.

It is about making sure good food reaches people who need it.

What Is the Neighbors Harvest Project???

The Neighbors Harvest Project is our effort to create a dedicated community grow bed through Heathen Farms.

This grow bed will be used to grow produce for local families and neighbors experiencing hardship, with a focus on practical crops that can make a real difference.

We want this project to become a living example of what a small family farm can do when a community comes together.

It will also create opportunities for children and families to volunteer, learn, and take part in something bigger than themselves.

How You Can Help?

There are several ways you can support the Neighbors Harvest Project:

1. Donate

Financial support helps us purchase the supplies needed to build and maintain the community grow bed.

2. Volunteer

As the project develops, we will schedule volunteer days where families can help plant, weed, mulch, harvest, and care for the beds.

3. Share the Mission

Spreading the word helps us reach more people who may want to support the project or benefit from it.

4. Follow Our Progress

We will share updates as the project grows so our community can see exactly what is being built and accomplished.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES

How Your Support Will Be Used?

Who This Project Helps?

The Neighbors Harvest Project is intended to support local families and individuals in our community who may be experiencing food insecurity or temporary hardship.

As the project grows, produce from these beds will be distributed with care and as fairly as possible, based on what the season provides.

Our hope is to create something sustainable, meaningful, and community-driven — one harvest at a time.
