SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT POLICY

Order Processing
Heathen Farms is a small family-operated farm and workshop. Most orders are prepared for shipment within three to five business days.
Processing may take longer during farmers-market weeks, holidays, severe weather, large order volumes, or periods of heavy farm work. Customers will be contacted if an unusual delay affects their order.
United States Shipping
We currently ship physical products within the United States using the shipping method displayed at checkout.
Shipping charges are calculated according to the combined product weight in the order. Delivery estimates begin after the package has been transferred to the carrier and do not include our processing time.
Tracking information will be provided when it is available.
Heathen Farms is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, transportation interruptions, incorrect routing, or other circumstances outside our control. We will, however, assist customers when a shipment appears lost or seriously delayed.
Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address.
Please contact Heathen Farms immediately after ordering if an address needs to be corrected. Once an order has shipped, we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed or that the package can be recovered.
Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address may be the customer’s responsibility.
Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available at Heathen Farms in Newburg, Pennsylvania. Current farm-stand location and hours may be published on our Farm Stand Updates page. Online pickup customers should still wait for a Ready for Pickup notification before arriving.
Customers must wait for a Ready for Pickup email before traveling to Heathen Farms. That message will provide the pickup location, available pickup window, and any necessary instructions.
Orders are not automatically ready when placed.
Please contact us if you cannot collect an order during the proposed pickup window.
International Shipping
Heathen Farms does not currently offer international shipping.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & ORDER PROBLEMS
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Standard Returns
To request a return, contact Heathen Farms through our Contact Us page within 14 days of delivery.
Returned merchandise must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
Coloring books must be uncolored, unmarked, and free from damage. Rune hangers and other handmade goods must be returned with their original packaging when reasonably possible.
Customers are responsible for return-shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless Heathen Farms made an error with the order.
Do not mail a return until Heathen Farms has responded with instructions.
Handmade and Natural Variation
Rune hangers and other handmade products may vary in wood grain, bark, shape, color, markings, and burned details.
These natural and handmade differences are part of the product and are not considered defects.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Please contact Heathen Farms within seven days of delivery if an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Include:
-The order number
-A description of the problem
-Clear photographs of the item
-Photographs of the shipping package when damage occurred during transit
After reviewing the information, Heathen Farms may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or another reasonable solution.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected, unless Heathen Farms determines that a return is unnecessary.
Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post a completed refund.
Cancellations
Contact Heathen Farms as soon as possible to request an order cancellation.
We will make a reasonable effort to cancel orders that have not been packed or shipped, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment has begun.
Nonreturnable Items
The following items are generally nonreturnable unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:
-Customized or personalized goods
-Used, colored, written-in, or damaged coloring books
-Clearance or final-sale merchandise clearly marked as such
-Products damaged after delivery through misuse or improper handling

Kids Grow Club Information
Heathen Farms Kids Grow Club online accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Children should not submit personal information or photographs directly.
Through a parent or guardian, Heathen Farms may collect a child’s first name, age or age range, Kids Grow Club membership number, completed quest information, volunteer participation, and photographs submitted as proof of club activities.
This information is used to verify membership, track Runestones and card levels, review contest or quest entries, communicate with families, and operate the Kids Grow Club.
A child’s photograph or first name will be displayed publicly only when the parent or guardian has provided separate permission. Heathen Farms will not publicly display a child’s full name, contact information, school, address, or complete membership number.
Parents and guardians may contact Heathen Farms to review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s Kids Grow Club information or withdraw permission for public display.

Local Produce Pickup & Delivery

Fresh Produce Availability
Heathen Farms produce is seasonal and harvested in limited quantities. Online inventory reflects our best current count of what is available for sale, but because we also operate a working farm and sell through multiple local channels, occasional inventory discrepancies may occur.
If an ordered item becomes unavailable before we can fulfill your order, Heathen Farms will contact you and offer an appropriate substitution when available or refund the unavailable item.
Farm Pickup
Free local pickup is available for eligible produce orders.
Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is Ready for Pickup before arriving. Pickup availability varies according to our farm schedule.
Additional pickup instructions will be provided with your order confirmation or ready-for-pickup notification.
Local Delivery
Heathen Farms currently offers limited local produce delivery within approximately 20 miles of the farm.
Approximately 0–10 miles: $5 delivery fee
Approximately 10–20 miles: $10 delivery fee
Beyond approximately 20 miles: Local delivery is currently unavailable.
Delivery eligibility is determined by the ZIP codes available through our online checkout system. If local delivery does not appear as an option for your address at checkout, your address is currently outside our delivery area.
Local delivery is not an on-demand delivery service. Orders are completed during the next available Heathen Farms delivery window. Same-day delivery is not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by Heathen Farms.
Delivery Instructions
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, working telephone number, and any information reasonably necessary to access the delivery location.
If you will not be available to receive your order, please provide a safe location where the order may be left.
Once perishable produce has been delivered to the address or drop-off location provided by the customer, responsibility for promptly retrieving and properly storing the order passes to the customer.
Unable to Complete a Delivery
If we cannot safely or reasonably complete a delivery because of an incorrect address, inaccessible property, unsafe conditions, or missing delivery information, Heathen Farms will attempt to contact the customer and arrange an alternative pickup or delivery solution.
Produce Quality
We sell naturally grown farm-fresh produce. Size, color, shape, and appearance may vary between individual items and harvests.
We stand behind the quality of our produce at the time it leaves Heathen Farms. If there is a genuine quality issue with your order when you receive it, please contact us promptly so we can make it right.
