WE DIDN’T SET OUT TO BUILD A BRAND.

WE SET OUT TO BUILD A LIFE.

Heathen Farms grew from one family choosing more time together, more work with purpose, and a future made by hand.

By Frey’s hand, bounty grows.

WHY WE CHOSE THIS LIFE

We wanted more than a schedule that kept our family moving in different directions. We wanted our children close, learning beside us, connected to the land, and confident in what their own hands could do.

Heathen Farms became our answer—a place where growing food, making useful things, homeschooling, and building a business could become one shared life instead of separate pieces.

We are still learning. We are still building. But every garden bed, market table, book, and handmade piece brings us closer to the life we imagined.

Less separation. More purpose. More life together.

FROM ORDINARY GROUND TO HEATHEN FARMS

We began with rented grass, reclaimed materials, borrowed knowledge, and a willingness to figure things out.

Pallets became fences and compost bins. Free slab wood became raised beds. Seeds became harvests. A folding table beneath a blue canopy became our place in the local market.

Nothing arrived finished—and that is part of what makes it ours.

We didn’t buy a finished dream. We built one piece at a time.

WHAT GUIDES US

FAMILY BEFORE SCALE

Growth only matters when it strengthens the life we are building together.

MAKE IT PERSONAL

Small batches, natural materials, reclaimed resources, and hands-on care matter more than mass production.

LEARN BY DOING

Our children help plant, harvest, create, sell, experiment, and solve problems beside us.

GROW WITH COMMUNITY

We want customers to know the family who grew their food and made the things they bring home.

SIX PEOPLE.
ONE SHARED PURPOSE

Heathen Farms is run by a family of six, and everyone brings something different to the work.

Some of us plant. Some build. Some create. Some carry harvest buckets while asking a thousand questions.

Our children are not decorations in the story of Heathen Farms. They are part of its daily work, its laughter, its ideas, and its future.

Together, we are learning that a meaningful life is not something you wait to find. It is something you build.

The farm gives us work. The family gives the work meaning.

OUR STORY IS STILL BEING WRITTEN

Every season brings another lesson, another project, another harvest, and another reason to keep building.

Thank you for becoming part of the journey.

Built by hand. Raised together. Shared with our community.
