WHAT’S GROWING AT HEATHEN FARMS

Our harvest changes with the weather, the season, and what the land is ready to provide. That means our table may look different every week—and that is part of the beauty of buying from a small farm.

BUILD THE SOIL

We use no-till practices, compost, mulch, and natural soil-building methods to feed the ground that feeds our plants.

HOW WE GROW

We are building Heathen Farms through observation, experimentation, and steady improvement—not through shortcuts.

WORK WITH NATURE

Flowers for pollinators, companion planting, careful observation, and hands-on pest monitoring help us work with the living systems around us.

HARVEST BY HAND

Our produce is grown in small spaces, gathered in small batches, and handled by the same family that planted it.

Healthy soil. Thoughtful growing. Food with a story behind it.

WHERE TO FIND THE HARVEST

Heathen Farms sells directly to our community through our seasonal farm stand and local farmers markets. Because we grow on a small scale, locations, quantities, and available items may change throughout the season.

BEFORE YOU MAKE
THE TRIP

CHECK THE WEEKLY UPDATE

We will share what is ready, where we will be, and any schedule changes before opening or market day.

Small-farm availability changes quickly. A vegetable may be growing beautifully today, harvested tomorrow, and sold out by the end of market morning.

COME EARLY

Our smallest and freshest batches may sell quickly. Arriving early gives you the best selection.

EXPECT THE SEASONS

Our table changes naturally throughout the year. What is abundant one month may disappear until the next growing season.

Fresh means seasonal—not unlimited.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SPECIFIC?

Local families, restaurants, community organizations, and small businesses are welcome to ask what we currently have available.

Because we grow in limited quantities, advance notice helps us plan larger orders, recurring needs, and special requests. We cannot promise every crop at every time of year—but we will always give you an honest answer about what the land can provide.

Local food begins with a conversation.
